Food Drive
The Salt Lake City Council is hosting a neighborhood food drive benefiting the Food Justice Coalition.  Food insecurity affects many of our neighbors. Roughly 13.6% of adults and 16% of children were food insecure in Salt Lake County in 2023, according to Utahns Against Hunger.  
 
Our food drive runs from Monday, Dec. 8, through Sunday, Dec. 21.  Non-perishable donation locations:

• District 1: Northwest Recreation Center 
• District 2: Sorenson Unity Center*
• District 3: Publik Avenues
• District 4: City Hall & Alta Club
• District 5: SpyHop  
• District 6: Dan’s Market Foothills & Parley’s Way Macey’s
• District 7: The Neighborhood Hive & Sugar House Macey’s

 
There is a clear bin with a yellow lid at each location.
